Welcome to the new site of "Customs and Holidays".
To start off, let's explore some culinary customs and taboos. Last week we looked at the consumption of raw meat in the Belgian, Indian and American cultures. This week we discover approaches to vegetarianism in India. Next week we'll have a real blessed treat with some "Hubertus mastellen" from Ghent, Belgium.
