Thanks for your reply.After reading 'nursery rhyme revisionism',I am happy to know that you agree with me in allowing nursery rhymes to remain they way they are.Not only do the nursery rhymes teach a child his/her mother tongue,it also helps the newer generation to get a glimpse of the values and traditions of a society in which their fore-fathers grew up.Hope people don't destroy this treasure the way they have destroyed so many other valuable things of the past.
