The best part of Mardi Gras is that it means King Cakes are everywhere! I love having an excuse to eat these sweet treats for breakfast. Here's a link to their history:

Hi Carolyn,

I must say they don't *look* appetizing, but the ingredients (except for the food-coloring) tell me they must be. They also tell me that a fast afterwards is probably in order.
